Next year, Ayushmann Khurrana will be starring in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan followed by Gulabo Sitabo. He also states that he might have another release and it is still an unannounced project. He said that it is looking hectic but exciting 2020. He will have at least three releases next year and he can't wait to show the diverseness of these stories. They have strong scripts and remarkably different stories. Ayushmann Khurrana said that he has always considered real people as the heroes of his films; their lives have inspired him to tell the stories. He will have releases and exciting announcements coming up. He will soon begin to shoot as well. Ayushmann added that 2020 will be the busiest year for him. On the work front, Bala will release in November this year.
The latest reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan is doing Hindi remake of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill where, the reports go on to suggest, Shah Rukh will play the villain Bill. However sources close to the Khan seem highly amused by the rumours. Says a source, "Kill Bill? Really?! First of all that is completely the female hero's film. So unless the makers plan to turn Uma Thurman's character into a male, there is no way Shah Rukh will touch this film even with a bargepole. He is certainly not playing the villain in any film at the moment. Shah Rukh was done with villainy at the outset of his career with his villainous trilogy in Darr, Baazigar and Anjaam". Most Bollywood superstars are now saying no to negative roles for the sake of political correctness. Incidentally Anurag Kashyap also wanted to do Kill Bill with Radhika Apte playing Uma Thurman's role.
A recent report however claimed that Radhe won’t be made after the project fell apart last week due to some unknown reason. But a source close to the project confirms that Radhe is very much on track and that Salman and his team is already working on this flick. The source says, “Radhe is Salman Khan’s Eid 2020 release and it has not been shelved or stalled for any reason whatsoever. The film is in the writing stages and a little bit of pre-production is also underway.” That Radhe is a remake of a Korean film is known but contrary to reports, it is not a remake of Veteran. The source reveals, “Radhe is a remake of a Korean film called The Outlaws. Salman Khan will play a cop in this film. Currently, the writers are trying their best to Indianize the story well and also to lessen the violent and sexual content, which is there in abundance in the original script. It’s taking a lot of time but the team is working day and night to get the script ready. Even Salim Khan saab is giving inputs. Prabhudheva is busy with Dabangg 3’s last schedule and post-production but he’ll soon get thoroughly involved with Radhe so that it can make it to cinemas in the month of May.” This update will surely be heartening for Salman Khan fans who have been left worried when reports emerged that Radhe is not happening and that Salman Khan is looking for another script. The source explains, “There’s no time now to look for a new script and begin work on it. We have to be ready with a film by May 22, 2020 come what may. And that film is Radhe.” When asked why Salman Khan denied that the name of his next film is Radhe, the source quips, “You know him – woh dil mein aate hai, samajh mein nahi! Maybe, they are planning to spell the film differently but from what we understand, Radhe is the next Salman Khan movie after Dabangg 3,” the source signs off. The Outlaws released in 2017 and stars Ma Dong-seok, Yoon Kye-sang and Jo Jae-yoon. Directed by Kang Yoon-sung, this crime action drama is based on a real incident and tells the story of Seoul detective who attempts to keep pace while tackling two warring gangs in the neighbourhood. The premise of the song is that Sunny Kaushal's character Jaggi and Ruksar's character Simi are rivals in college and this song appears as Jaggi works hard to form a team for the international championship. They adapted the song completely in the film so they hoping it will get the audiences grooving. Produced by RSVP, Bhangra Paa Le will be directed by Sneha Taurani starring Sunny Kaushal and Rukhsar Dhillon. The film is releasing on November 1, 2019.

Recently, while talking to a daily about the importance of Box Office numbers, the actress said that it does affect her as she feels that there is no reward better than people watching the film. She further said that when a film does not work then it affects the budget of your next film. Vidya Balan said that it is the first outcome when it comes to the kind of films she does. The Kahaani actress said that people become more cautious and say that it’s a woman-led film and ‘thoda budget sambhaal ke’. She said that because of this an artist cannot hike their price and then have to wait for their next film to work.
Vidya Balan is sure one of the actresses who paved way for female-centric films in a male-dominated industry. However, the actress said that in terms of overall ratio it’s still a small percentage, and out of those, the number which succeeds is not big. Amitabh Bachchan and Chiranjeevi have been friends for a long time and they often talk to each other. During their conversation, Amitabh Bachchan revealed how they often talk, but Chiranjeevi never takes his advice. “Chiranjeevi told me that he needed to join politics. I told him ‘Sir please do not make that mistake. I have told Rajini the same thing. But he (Chiranjeevi) never listens. Anyhow he went in. His brother (Pawan Kalyan) joined politics. I told him also to not go in. But Pawan is so passionate about politics that it is unbelievable.” Chiranjeevi revealed that it was his wish since years to portray the character of a freedom fighter. He said that he aspired to play Bhagat Singh. However, he changed his mind when the Paruchuri Brothers (writers of Sye Raa) narrated the story of Narasimha Reddy to him nearly 12 years ago. However, Chiranjeevi’s passion project had to take a backseat as the actor joined politics and did not make any film for nine years. The actor said that he regrets not having taken Amitabh Bachchan’s advice. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a period drama based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who fought in what is known to be the first war of Independence against the British Rule in India. The movie features an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan, Nayanthara, Tamannaah and Niharika which makes the movie unmissable. Says a source, "The last Golmaal outing was a great success. This is one franchise that not only gets immense love from the audiences but is very close to Rohit's heart as well. He loves making his larger-than-life cop films, but after making Simmba and Sooryavanshi back to back, he is now in mood to take a break. Hence, he is considering it to be a good idea to take up Golmaal 5 next," informs a source. Golmaal Again, released in 2017, was one of the strongest performers of that year. The familiar cast of Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu never fails to work. And we can’t wait to watch the next Golmaal movie. Recently in an interview to a media house, Sonakshi Sinha said that Salman saw the acting ‘keeda’ in her when she had not even thought of acting as a career option. Salman Khan encouraged and motivated her to take it up. Talking about how she bagged the role of Rajjo she said that one day Arbaaz Khan along with the director of the film came to her house and narrated the script to her and she became a part of the film even before she knew it. In an earlier interview, Sonakshi Sinha had revealed that during a fashion show where she was working as an audience manager, Salman Khan had walked up to her and advised her to lose weight and they would cast her in one of their movies. Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in the film Mission Mangal which was a hit at the box office. The actress will soon be seen reprising the role of Rajjo in Dabangg 3 which is scheduled to release in December. The news of his passing was confirmed by his niece, Dekh Bhai Dekh actress Bhavana Balsavar who said that he passed away at 6:55 am peacefully in his sleep. He was keeping unwell but did not spend his last days in the hospital. So, they brought him home a few days ago. She said that is a great loss for all of them. Viju Khote worked in the industry for six decades starting from 1965. From Hindi to Marathi films, theatre to TV serials and plays, the actor starred in over 300 projects. He starred in some of the most popular films including Andaz Apna Apna, Sholay, China Gate, Qurbani among others. He was also seen in Priyanka Chopra’s Marathi production Ventilator in 2016. Khote was last seen in 2018’s Jaane Kyun De Yaaron.
It began when when producers Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani, who also produced Arjun's Mubarakan, bought the rights for Arjun Reddy's Hindi remake. While they had Arjun in mind, Sandeep had met Shahid and promised him the film. Since Sandeep had to direct the Hindi version as well, they chose to go ahead with his choice. In a recent interview, Arjun opened up saying he wanted to respect Sandeep's choice and didn't want to be a troublemaker for the producers either by getting into a war of ego. Adding that only Sandeep could have churned out Kabir Singh as perfectly as he did, Arjun also heaped praises on Shahid, calling him a fantastic actor! As of now, Farhan Akhtar is gearing up for his upcoming movie, The Sky Is Pink where the actor will be sharing the screen with Priyanka Chopra with whom he has also worked in Dil Dhadakne Do and directed her in Don 3. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film also stars Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf and it is slated to release on October 11, 2019.
Girish Johar agrees that this Southern biggie has a chance but War will dominate. He says, “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is looking quite good but specifically for the Hindi markets, it’s obvious that War would be the first option.” Harveen Singh however says, “I don’t think Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is that big a competition for War in the North. In the South, it’s huge but in the Northern belt, it won’t have much of an impact”. He also predicts, “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will get an opening of below Rs. 5 crore.” Raj Bansal on the same lines states, “There’s hardly any buzz for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in this side, not even for Hindi version. No one knows the history of this freedom fighter. Such films don’t do very well in the North, except for a Baahubali.” Atul Mohan however refuses to write off the potential of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. He justifies, “Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are quite smart. They must be confident of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and hence are taking the risk of clashing it with a film like War.” And lastly, the much-talked about Hollywood flick Joker, starring Joaquin Phoenix, also hits screens on October 2. The film has opened in film festivals with unanimous praise. Girish Johar feels this film too might excel, “Joker is a very upmarket Hollywood film which will have its fair share of audiences in the top metro city multiplexes. It has fantastic pre-release reports from Overseas.” Atul Mohan tells, “Joker seems like a very dark film and only for niche audiences but its reviews are very encouraging. It’ll get very limited release and they (Warner Bros) must be mentally prepared that they are coming in a week which will be dominated by two other big films. Maybe they must have planned it that way and must have avoided going all-out, like these studios usually do for mainstream, Hollywood films.” Harveen Singh positions the Hollywood dark film above Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy on the buzz scale. He says, “Joker has a buzz among Hollywood audiences, especially those who are fans of the character. I feel in West and Northern belt, Joker is a bigger opposition than Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy for War!” Raj Bansal however is ruthless as he makes it clear that “Releasing Joker on October 2 is the biggest mistake of Warner Bros. It will not work at all”. Komal Nahta too admits, “Joker doesn’t really stand much of a chance.” The trade and industry are divided over Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Joker but one thing is for sure. War seems like a winner and is expected to fetch a flying start. If content is also appealing and reports positive, then sky is the limit for this flick! Bollywood Hungama was the first to tell you that the Salman Khan was reuniting with his Bharat producers, Atul Agnihotri and Nikhil Namit for a hard-core masala entertainer – the exception being that it would also be produced by Salman Khan Productions. There were also reports that the movie was titled Radhe but while admitting that his Eid 2020 release would be directed by his Dabangg 3 director, Prabhu Dheva, he had denied that the movie was called Radhe. Says a trade source, “Recently, when asked about a movie called Radhe, releasing on Eid, Salman had denied it, adding that Prabhu Dheva would direct it. But buzz is that Radhe was almost happening but for various reasons didn’t. After Inshallah got postponed indefinitely, Salman was searching for a script. He got two – one a Korean remake and the other a masala entertainer. One thing was certain – whichever was finalised, the film would be directed by Prabhu Dheva. Salman is extremely impressed with the director’s work in Dabangg 3, his massy connect and the fact that everything is on schedule. The massy entertainer was finalised and titled Radhe because in both his movies (Tere Naam and Wanted) where he is called Radhe, they have turned out to be blockbusters.” The source adds that even the poster for Radhe had been designed and kept ready. “Atul Agnihotri, Nikhil Namit and Salman were ready with the announcement but something happened last week and the project fall apart. While the buzz is that they discovered just before the announcement that the story was similar to another movie and the title is with someone else – only a few (including Salman) know what the truth is. The story was based in the heartlands of North India and the final draft (with Salman’s inputs) was complete with rumours of the star playing a double role. Salman had planned to announce the movie, after he began shooting for it.” Now the hunt for a fresh script is on again. The source adds, “Salman won’t leave Eid 2020. His fans expect it and it’s a box-office bonanza for everybody around. No other star except Salman enjoys that kind of BO success on Eid so it’s natural that his release comes on that day. This project is very important to Salman and he is taking keen interest himself in every department. There is another script that they are looking at. It is a known fact that after shelving of Inshallah, the filmmaker has started work on Gangubai with Alia Bhatt where she would be seen as a central protagonist. While she has the biggest part in the film, the script also includes a young male character who has an important part to play as well as Alia’s love interest. To get the right actor enact this part, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has intensified his search so that preparations are well in place before the film goes on floors. This is where Kartik Aaryan fits in. Of what we hear, the character appears at a crucial juncture of the film’s narrative and leaves a strong impression.
