While speaking with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes for an episode of their SmartLess podcast, Bradley Cooper discussed past incidents where peers mocked him for his Academy Awards nominations. One of those incidents occurred during an Oscars party hosted by the agency CAA. Cooper recounted standing next to an actress, who he called a "dear" friend, and a director, when the director asked: “What world are we living in where you have seven nominations, and she’s only got three?”
