During an interview with IGN, the director revealed only one cut of the movie exists, and it's the one David Cronenberg always intended to make. However, with viral movements like #ReleaseTheSnyderCut and #ReleaseTheAyerCut making waves across social media over the last few years, fans can rarely be sure that the movie they see is the director's original vision.
