The chickens are coming home to roost once again. Aardman Animation is gearing up to release a sequel to Chicken Run, their wildly popular 2000 animated film. Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is set to be released in 2023. The original Chicken Run is currently the highest-grossing stop-motion animated film of all time, drawing more than $224 million at the box office. It was also the first full-length film produced by Aardman.
