Nope is looking to be one of the biggest films of the summer, hauling in $44 million during its opening weekend. That's the biggest domestic box office opening for an original movie since Jordan Peele's previous film, Us. Nope follows the Haywood's living on their family ranch when objects mysteriously start falling out of the sky, killing siblings OJ and Emerald's father. Following the tragic loss, the brother and sister attempt to capture video evidence of an unidentified flying object with the help of a tech salesman (Perea).
