The anime movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero came up triumphant at the domestic box office with its debut in theaters. Though it was facing competitive blockbusters like Top Gun: Maverick and the Idris Elba movie Beast also making its debut, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero emerged as the No. 1 movie in the United States and Canada with a haul of $20.1 million. It earned another $12 million overseas, putting it above $32.1 million worldwide.
