After nearly two decades, filmmaker John Waters will step back behind the camera to direct another feature film. Deadline reports that Waters will partner up with Village Roadshow Pictures to develop a feature film adaptation of his novel Liarmouth: A Feel-Bad Romance. Waters will pen the screenplay in addition to directing the film, marking his first time in the director's chair since the release of A Dirty Shame in 2004. Steve Rabineau will produce alongside Village Roadshow Entertainment.
