With Henry Cavill out as Superman in the DCU, all hopes of future films featuring this beloved incarnation of the Man of Steel have gone down the drain. That obviously affects Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who spent six years negotiating behind the scenes for Cavill's Superman to return in Black Adam, as he was planning a Superman vs. Black Adam battle. Additionally, with Peter Safran and James Gunn seemingly fizzling out the DCEU continuity in favor of evolving their vision of the DCU, chances are Zachary Levi may also be finished as Shazam following the release of Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
