Despite its premise about an animal embarking on a rampage while under the influence of heavy drugs, the new film Cocaine Bear has earned director Elizabeth Banks the respect of PETA. The organization announced that they're bestowing Banks with the "Beary Best" Award, honoring the filmmaker for going with using computer-generated imagery (CGI) over real bears. While the movie does depict an animal on cocaine, PETA's only concerns are that no animals are harmed or exploited during the production.
