That knocks down Creed III from the top spot, making Ghostface the king of the box office for this weekend. These numbers also set the new record for the franchise for the highest opening weekend, which was previously held by last year's Scream at $30 million. When we factor in an additional $22.6 million earned overseas, Scream VI will be ending its opening weekend with a worldwide haul of $67.1 million.
