The Minecraft movie adaptation in the works with Jason Momoa at Warner Bros. now has an official release date following years of spinning its wheels in development hell. On Wednesday, it was announced (via Deadline) that the film has been dated for a theatrical premiere on April 4, 2025, coming just under two years from now. That date had previously been booked by Warner Bros. for an unnamed movie, now revealed to be Minecraft.
