Superman celebrated its 85th anniversary this week, with James Gunn joining the fans’ celebration with the announcement that Superman: Legacy is now officially in production. The upcoming film, which will arrive in 2025, is set to mark the introduction of a new Man of Steel into the DCU canon as a part of Gods & Monsters, the first phase of Gunn’s long term plan for the Warner Bros. Discovery franchise.
