James Gunn's name has been on the collective tongues of the entertainment industry as of late, having been recently hired as the head of DC studios alongside Peter Safran. On the other end of the superhero spectrum, over in the colorful MCU, Gunn has recently released his final Marvel film (at least for now), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The film is getting rave reviews and evoking a wide range of emotions as arguably one of the most powerful films in the MCU.
