Joaquin Phoenix's performance in Joker gained plenty of praise and accolades. For his portrayal of the titular character, Phoenix earned an Academy Award, a BAFTA, a Critics Choice Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award, among others. Another impressive achievement? He secured the role of Napoleon Bonaparte through his portrayal of the unstable clown.
