A master of horror recommended Dracula's director. The Last Voyage of the Demeter is now playing in cinemas, and the latest incarnation of Count Dracula (Javier Botet) is helmed by André Øvredal. However, before the Norwegian filmmaker took on the daunting task of bringing the Transylvanian vampire back to life, Guillermo del Toro was attached to the project. But once he stepped away from the director’s chair, del Toro recommended Øvredal take a seat.
