Wonka's Timothée Chalamet holds the keys to the chocolate kingdom. Chalamet is the latest actor to take up the milk-chocolatey mantle of Willy Wonka on the Silver Screen, and director Paul King’s big-screen adaptation is still slated for release on December 15, 2023 — despite the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes.
