While it wasn't the Krisis of the Krimson Kryptonite, Superman was left powerless all the same. The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike began back on July 14, 2023, on the heels of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, and they left showbuisness in a seemingly perpetual state of Hollywood doldrums. But now, thankfully, both disputes are things of the past. As such, filming on James Gunn’s highly anticipated Superman: Legacy film will start in the spring of 2024.
