The Ghostbusters franchise is set to make its return to the big screen in 2024 after a three-year break following 2021's Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and original Ghostbuster, Dan Aykroyd, has promised in a new interview that Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will be unlike anything we've ever seen before from the series. Speaking with Newsweek regarding his new show on The History Channel, The UnBelievable with Dan Aykroyd, the Canadian-born actor was asked about his return to the Ghostbusters franchise after more than 30 years away, and he mentioned how the next generation of actors have given him faith that carrying on the beloved series with Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire was the right move.
