Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Global could be joining forces in 2024. According to Deadline, a “well-placed” source reports that the President and Chief Executive Officer of Paramount, Bob Bakish, met with the President and Chief Executive Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav, to discuss the possibility of a merger between the mass media and entertainment conglomerates. The unnamed source told the trade these are "preliminary" talks:
