It's been a long time coming, but the wait for Super Troopers 3 looks to be almost over. From the Broken Lizard comedy troupe, the original Super Troopers was released in theaters to great success in 2001. Many years and other projects would come from the group subsequently until the first sequel, Super Troopers 2, was released in 2018. That year, director Jay Chandrasekhar announced that a third installment was in the works. Dubbed Super Troopers 3: Winter Soldiers, its title was a play on the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
