Disney has offered a formal response to the recent controversy related to their upcoming remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Reimagining the classic animate movie in a live-action setting, the new Snow White movie came under fire by Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage during a recent interview on Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast. Dinklage said it made "no sense" how Disney would be progressive to an extent by casting Rachel Zegler as Snow White while ignoring the larger problem with the titular dwarfs.
