Yet another classic character from The Munsters has been announced for Rob Zombie's upcoming reboot. Over the past several months, Zombie has been revealing one character after another that will be featured in the new movie. This even includes many minor characters from the classic sitcom as Zombie seems to want to bring as many characters from that universe into the reboot as possible.
Rachel Zegler has had a whirlwind of an introduction to Hollywood in the last couple of years, with starring roles in West Side Story and as the lead in Disney’s live-action Snow White. Now she has been cast as Lucy Gray Baird in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the prequel to the blockbuster Hunger Games movies. Zegler will be joined in the movie by Tom Blyth, who will play the role of Young President Coriolanus Snow in the movie, which is based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins.

Veteran actor Bo Hopkins has reportedly passed away. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the actor, who was particularly popular in the 1970s with his roles in American Graffiti and many other popular films of the era, died on Saturday at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys. According to his wife, Sian, Hopkins suffered a heart attack on May 9, contributing to the actor's death. He was 84 years old.
Rohit Shetty has dished out a first of its kind action-packed commercial thriller titled Made In India. This drama has all the hallmarks of a Rohit Shetty film – cars, comedy, villains, fights, lots of masala and a larger than life hero – none other than the Desi superstar, Ranveer Singh! At the press conference for the Ching's Secret ad campaign launch, Shetty was asked about the ongoing North vs South films' debate has taken over the internet.

Left with no choice, he decided to meet Steven Spielberg, who was then shooting for his film Bridge Of Spies (2015). Interestingly, the film starred Tom Hanks, who also starred in Forrest Gump and whose role Aamir wanted to essay in the remake. Robert Zemeckis held Spielberg in high regard. As a result, Aamir felt that if Steven Spielberg would convince Robert, the latter would part with the remake rights of Forrest Gump.
Aamir Khan reached the sets of Bridge Of Spies and met Steven Spielberg along with Tom Hanks. Steven Spielberg introduced Aamir to Tom Hanks as ‘James Cameron of India’. This is because according to the filmmaker, just like how James Cameron breaks his own box office records, so does Aamir! Tom Hanks, however, made it clear that he knows Aamir very well. He also admitted that he loved Aamir’s 2009 film 3 Idiots and that he has seen it as many as 3 times!
Aamir Khan then told Steven Spielberg about his predicament about Robert Zemeckis. To which Spielberg told Aamir that his relationship with Zemeckis was like that of a father and a son. One of 2021’s most successful Malayalam films Hridayam which featured the legendary Mohanlal’s son Pranav Mohanlal in the lead will be remade into Hindi by Karan Johar and Fox-Star studios (now Star studios.)
And from what one hears, Karan intends to launch Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s eldest son Ibrahim Ali Khan in the Hridayam remake.
A source informed Bollywood Hungama, “It is the best project for Ibrahim’s launch. For some time now, Karan is looking for a suitable launch film for Ibrahim. The character in Hridayam of a brash student maturing into marriage and fatherhood , is just right for Ibrahim.”
In fact Karan was to launch Ibrahim’s sister Sara Ali Khan as well. But the project kept getting delayed and she ended up being launched by Abhishek Kapoor in Kedarnath. This time Karan will ensure that he gives the Khan scion the best possible launch.

Samrat Prithviraj has been directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who is best known for directing the television epic Chanakya and the critically acclaimed film Pinjar. The ethereally gorgeous Manushi Chhillar plays the role of King Prithviraj’s beloved Sanyogita and her launch is definitely one of the most awaited debuts of 2022. The film is set to release on June 3 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Jacqueline Fernandez, who is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate in a Rs. 200 crore money laundering case, has been granted permission by a Delhi Court to travel abroad. Earlier, this year, the actress was stopped from leaving the country owing to her being investigated in a money laundering case involving alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Earlier this month, Jacqueline had approached the court with a plea to travel abroad for IIFA Award and a few other events. While it was later reported that she briefly withdrew the petition, she has now been allowed to attend the IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi on June 2 ,3, and 4.
On Saturday, the Delhi Court allowed her plea but set a few conditions for the same. "Considering the facts and circumstances, the application at hand is allowed. The applicant is granted permission to travel to Abu Dhabi, UAE from 31.05.2022 till 06.06.2022 and for this given period, the LOC against the applicant issued in this case shall stand suspended," Additional Sessions Judge Praveen Singh said in the court.
The actress has also been asked to submit Rs. 50 lakh as a guarantee of her return to the country. "The applicant shall submit an FDR to the tune of ₹50 lakhs along with an undertaking that in case of her non-return, the FDR shall stand suspended and shall also provide a surety of ₹50 lakhs, The applicant shall submit her itinerary, place of stay and the number at which she can be contacted. On her return, the applicant shall inform the investigating agency about her return," the court said while imposing the conditions.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Jacqueline was last seen in the film Attack: Part 1. She will next be seen in the mystery thriller Vikrant Rona. The movie will be released in six languages -- Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and English and is set to hit the theatres on July 28.
As Rob Zombie nears the end of production on The Munsters, the director has released a new image revealing our best look yet at Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster. In previous sneak peeks, we have seen Herman in black-and-white or blurry photos, and he was seen in action in a grainy video also recently unveiled. In one of his newest Instagram posts, Zombie included a series of photos detailing how to create a homemade Herman costume, and at the tail end is a brand new image of Phillips from the film.
Marvel Studios has released official stills from a crucial sequence from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Marvel took to Instagram and Twitter, releasing the images of "members of the Illuminati." The team featured in the film as the organization responsible for the safety of Earth-838. The sequence featuring the Illuminati was an important one and also the one which gained the most screams in the theaters. The scene introduced several alternate versions of Marvel characters and even two surprising cameos.
If the wants want it badly enough to support the first film, there could very well be a sequel to The Bob's Burgers Movie. Debuting in theaters on May 27, the new film is a feature-length adaptation of the animated series Bob's Burgers. Loren Bouchard, who created the original series, co-directed the feature with Bernard Derriman. Bouchard also co-wrote the screenplay with Nora Smith, who has been working on the series since season 1. The three opened up about the film in a new interview with Variety.
The Lucasfilm kickoff panel at Star Wars Celebration contained plenty of announcements about the franchise's future on Disney+, but there were no updates on any of the films that are currently in the works. Studio president Kathleen Kennedy recently described a "road map" for getting Star Wars back in theaters, which includes a project from Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi. While Waititi's film was first announced back in December 2020, not much is known about what the story will entail, who will be leading the cast, or when production will get underway. The newest endeavor for Donald Trump's media company, Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), is to launch a subscription streaming service in the vein of Netflix or Hulu, but strictly with content that can be considered "non-woke." Per THR, the company, led by CEO Devin Nunes, has revealed what they have in mind for the planned streaming service, dubbed TMTG+. New information from a securities filing has specifically stated that certain canceled shows from the past could be brought back to join "Trump-specific programming" as well as news, sports, and other content aimed for right-wing audiences.
David Cronenberg’s Crimes of the Future arrived at Cannes this week and as predicted by the director saw a number of walk-outs from those not quite prepared for the body horror movie. Cronenberg has never been known for making bright and fluffy movies, so it was not surprising that the director’s newest movie, his first in eight years, has seen quite a reaction from its first audience, but star Kristen Stewart has been quick to defend the movie, saying that behind the gore is something “beautiful.”

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon sequel is officially happening. For years, there were speculations around the sequel but cast wasn't confirmed. But, now, Lee Yoo Mi, Ong Seong Wu, Byun Woo Seok, Kim Hae Sook and Kim Jung Eun have been confirmed to star in the sequel titled Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon.
Squid Game and All Of Us Are Dead breakout star Lee Yoo Mi will be headlining the project with the two males played by More Than Friends star Ong Seong Wu and Record Of Youth actor Byun Woo Seok. According to Korean tabloid Soompi, "The sequel will revolve around Do Bong Soon’s distant cousin Kang Nam Soon, who has immense strength. Not only does she have great power, but so does her mother Hwang Geum Joo and grandmother Gil Joong Gan."
Taking on the titular role, Lee Yoo Mi will play the role of Kang Nam Soon who is cheerful young woman with great abilities. She was a missing child in Mongolia and came to Gangnam to find her parents. Kim Hae Sook, veteran South Korean actor, will essay the role of Kang's maternal grandmother Gil Joong Gan. Kim Jung Eun will play the role of Hwang Geum Joo who is wealthy and righteous woman in Gangnam doing good deeds in search for her daughter.
Ong Seong Woo takes on the role of detective Kang Hee Sik, from secret investigation team, who is working on investigating drugs in Gangnam. Byun Woo Seok plays the antagonist Ryu Si Oh.
The sequel, which will center around new drug crimes in Gangnam, will be penned by Mine writer Baek Mi Kyung and helmed by Work Later, Drink Now director Kim Jung Sik. The makers plan to begin filming this year and the series will premiere in first half of 2023.

David Cronenberg is sticking to what he knows best with his latest film, Crimes of the Future. The director is known for including graphic scenes of body horror in his movies, and his new project is no exception. According to reports from IGN, audience members began leaving the screening, which debuted Monday at the Cannes Film Festival, five minutes after the movie started. This may come as no surprise for those who have seen Cronenberg’s previous films, like The Fly and Videodrome, but his movies aren’t for those with a weak stomach. The walkouts were expected from Cronenberg, telling Deadline he expected audience members to be ‘revulsed’ by the film.

In an old video interview that has surfaced Akshay Kumar is heard telling film critic Mayank Shekhar that he was rejected during the audition of director Mansoor Khan’s Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar because he was “crap”. Speaking on the incident the Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar director Mansoor Khan told this writer, “What Akshay has said about him being thrown out of Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar surprised me. I am sorry I rejected him. But I am amazed at the career that he has. At the time that we screen-tested him, he was very very wooden. He had a great physique. But that’s it.”
Mansoor feels Akshay could have chosen his words more discreetly. “The way he has spoken about being rejected is very derogatory and condescending. Akshay had even called me after being rejected saying. ‘Let’s work together.’ I never said he was crap.”
Mansoor reveals that even Deepak Tijori who auditioned for the same role that Akshay did, was rejected. “Deepak tested for the role and I told him, ‘Deepak you are a damn good actor. But I am sorry I am going with Milind Soman for his physique.’ Akshay Kumar, I didn't say anything to. Maybe that upset him. Eventually, when Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar became iconic he must have felt jilted. I don’t blame him.”

A veteran theatre artist ‘Gagan Dev Riar’ has been roped in to play the role of Abdul Karim Telgi.
The series chronicles the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, a fruit-seller born in Khanapur in Karnataka, and his journey to becoming the mastermind behind one of the most ingenious scams in India. The scam, spread across multiple states, shook the entire country.

Scam 2003 is adapted from the Hindi book ‘Reporter ki Diary’, authored by journalist Sanjay Singh, who broke the scam back in the time. The series will be helmed by the National award-winning director, Hansal Mehta and Tushar Hiranandani. Cast by Mukesh Chhabra, the series is currently filming and will soon stream on SonyLIV.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running TV shows in India. The comedy series that narrates the daily life of members of the Gokuldham society with a comic twist is one of the most loved shows in the country. The character of Dayaben essayed by Disha Vakani is among the most popular characters on the show because of her quirky personality. However, Disha Vakani has been missing from the screen for over four years now.
While there was always a glimmer of hope among fans that Disha Vakani will return to the show eventually, the show's producer Asit Kumar Modi has finally confirmed that the show will see Dayaben later this year. Talking to E-Times he said, "We have no reason to not get back Daya Ben’s character. But we all have faced difficult times in the recent past. 2020-21 was a very tough phase for all of us. But now that things have got better, in 2022 koi bhi acche samay par we are going to bring back the character of Daya Ben and audience will once again get to see the entertainment of Jethalal and Daya Bhabhi".
However, the producer said that they have not yet finalised who will be playing Dayaben. "I don’t know yet if Disha Vakani will be back as Daya Ben. We still have a very good relation with Disha ji, we are like a family. But now she is married and has a kid and everyone gets busy with their own responsibilities. We all have our personal life, so I won’t be able to comment on that. Lekin joh bhi Disha Ben or Nisha Ben but you will surely get to Daya Ben and we as a team will try our best to give the same entertainment that we gave you before," he added.
Disha Vakani had gone on indefinite maternity leave in 2017. With her gone, the character of Dayaben was missing from the show. The actress has, however, not officially quit the show.

Director Brett Morgen has released the first trailer for Moonage Daydream, about late music legend David Bowie. This release comes hours before the documentary's scheduled premiere at the Cannes Film Festival’s Midnight Screenings section. The feature length film, described as a "cinematic odyssey" and "immersive experience", relies on never-before-seen footage, performances, interviews and music to tell the tale of Bowie's artistic and spiritual journey. It is the first documentary that has received the Bowie estate's approval.

The early reviews are in for The Bob's Burgers Movie, and the critics are loving it. Recent reports also suggest that Zaheer Iqbal, who made his Bollywood debut with Notebook, may not be a part of the film anymore. While the film is said to have gone on floors, if these rumours are to be believed, it is being said that the shoot schedule might face a setback due to the changes in the casting.

The trailer of the film was released earlier this month and got praise from all quarters. Bollywood Hungama has found out that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the film with a U/A certificate, after making certain cuts.
As per the cut list, the CBFC’s examining committee asked for 5 cuts or additions. The first two is regarding the insertion of the opening disclaimers, that the film is a work of fiction, and secondly, that the film does not intend to promote crime committed by children.
Thirdly, cuss words like 'B**** c**d', 'R****khana', 'L***a', 'F**k', D******d', 'Son of a b***h' were removed or replaced with non-objectionable terms. The CBFC even removed the word 'Dhandewali' from one dialogue. Fourthly, the CBFC, in some places, also asked to remove or replace the words like ‘China’ and ‘Chinese’ used to depict North-Eastern girls. Lastly, a dialogue around a real-life personality was asked to be either removed or replaced.
Interestingly, the scene where a bullet rips apart a book on Mahatma Gandhi was left untouched. The shot can also be seen in the trailer of the film.
Anek was granted the certificate way back on March 25. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 147.50 minutes. In other words, Anek is 2 hours and 27 minutes long. The film is all set to be released on May 27.
The first official images have been revealed for the Spirit Halloween film. The Alec Baldwin western movie Rust was pretty far along in production before shutting down in October 2021 due to the infamous incident on the set that took the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. A firearm declared by crew members to be a "cold gun" wound up discharging a live round while Baldwin was preparing to shoot his next scene, fatally wounding Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. Part meta and part reboot, the new Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers movie is pretty unique from Disney's other live-action remakes. The nature of this storyline has also allowed for special appearances of various other well-known animated characters, and given the recent success of the Sonic the Hedgehog films, it was no surprise to see the titular speedster show up for a cameo.
Rihanna is a mom now. The 'Diamonds' singer, and rapper A$AP Rocky welcomed their first baby on May 13. They are now reportedly at their Los Angeles home with their baby boy.
