Nicolas Cage is obviously the best person to play the parody version of himself in the new film The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, but after the filmmakers teased a potential portrayal by chameleon actor Christian Bale, it's hard not to think about what could have been. In the movie, directed by Tom Gormican and written by Kevin Etten, Cage plays Nick Cage, a heightened version of himself with the same filmography. The story follows Cage as he channels his various action movie roles to rescue his family from a deranged superfan.
