This month saw the release of Halloween Ends, the final chapter of David Gordon Green's Halloween trilogy. After Jamie Lee Curtis returned as Laurie Strode for the 2018 film, she was back for last year's Halloween Kills ahead of her final hurrah in Halloween Ends. Given that he knew he would be taking some unexpected turns with the film, Green had also known to expect a fair amount of backlash, so much so that he had even warned at least one of its stars to expect some fan complaints.
