Millennium Media is developing an all-new live-action Hellboy movie, marking the third incarnation of the character to be developed for the big screen within the past 20 years. Previously, Ron Perlman played Hellboy in a pair of films by director Guillermo del Toro, respectively released in 2004 and 2008. Neil Marshall would later direct an unrelated reboot with David Harbour in the role which was released in 2019, though it bombed bigtime with its reviews from critics and box office performance.
