Another Oscar nominee is wanted for the upcoming Gladiator sequel. THR reports that Barry Keoghan (The Banshees of Inisherin, Eternals) is in talks to join Gladiator 2 in a lead role. Should the casting go through, he'd be co-starring with fellow Oscar nominee Paul Mescal (Aftersun), who was previously announced to help lead the cast. Ridley Scott is back in the director's chair after helming the original movie while the screenplay for Gladiator 2 comes from David Scarpa (All the Money in the World).
