After years of lackluster adaptations of video games to the big screen, it seems studios are finally learning from their mistakes. PlayStation is taking a unique approach to its video game adaptations by setting up a production company to oversee the adaptations of their popular games. With their vast library of iconic video games, this move allows PlayStation to have more control over the adaptations of their games and ensure that they are done justice on the big screen. One such adaptation currently in development is the Ghost of Tsushima movie, directed by Chad Stahelski, who is best known for his work on the John Wick series. The game is set in 1274 Japan and follows the journey of samurai warrior Jin Sakai as he battles against the Mongol Empire to protect his homeland of Tsushima.
