Some good news has come in for Alec Baldwin. As has been widely reported, Baldwin was at the center of a deadly accident on the set of the Western movie Rust in October 2021. The actor was given what he was told was a prop handgun which had somehow been loaded with at least one live round. While preparing for a scene, the gun fired, and the round wounded director Joel Souza and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Production had shut down on the New Mexico set while an investigation commenced, though filming resumed this week at a new location in Montana.
