When it was announced in 2019, Blade seemed to be heading quickly to screens as part of the MCU’s line up of heroes and villains. However, now in 2023 and the movie is still to begin filming. Cameras are set to start rolling in a month’s time, but it seems that the saga of bringing the daywalker to the Marvel Universe has thrown up another twist. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Blade’s development hell is continuing right up to the line with yet another new writer being brought in to try and perfect the script, this time in the form of True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto.
