The Universal Monsters franchise has been on a rollercoaster ride in recent years. From the disappointment of Tom Cruise’s The Mummy and the subsequent abandoning of the shared Dark Universe it was expected to introduce, to the recent successes of stand-alone movies like The Invisible Man and the reasonable performance of the newly releasedRenfield. Now Scream 6 helmers Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, better known collectively as Radio Silence, are about to deliver their own vision for the Universal Monsters franchise, but will it be the start of another attempt at the Monsters Universe?
