The Pope's Exorcist stars Russell Crowe as Father Gabriele Amorth, a real-life former Italian Catholic priest and the Vatican's chief exorcist. Father Gabriele Amorth is said to have performed thousands of exorcisms during his tenure with the Catholic Church, so finding stories for continuing a film franchise should be no difficult task. Bloody Disgusting notes that they expect the Academy Award winner to reprise his role for the sequel.
