With the Street Fighter franchise getting a new live-action movie, chances are we will soon see a new incarnation of the fan favorite Guile on the big screen. In the original Street Fighter film, released in 1994, Jean-Claude Van Damme played the role of Guile, a United States Air Force major known for his military garb and tall blonde hair. The character was not featured in the 2009 reboot, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, though he continues to appear in the video games and has been consistently featured in the various animated Street Fighter adaptations.
