The official soundtrack for The Little Mermaid, Disney's live-action remake of the animated movie released in 1998, is now available. A week ahead of the movie's anticipated release in theaters, the soundtrack provides fans with a chance to hear the music in its entirety with the soundtrack dropping on streaming platforms like Spotify. That includes updated versions of classic songs featured in the animated version of The Little Mermaid as well as new songs written specifically for the remake by Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Spotify has also offered special access to Spotify Stories featuring exclusive interviews from cast members for those who listen to the soundtrack on the app.
