When Barbie hits theaters on July 21, audiences will see different versions of Barbie and Ken, led by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, grace the big screen. One of those Kens is a merman, who, we recently learned, is played by WWE champion and actor John Cena. During an appearance on Today, Cena told host Hoda Kotb how he became part of one of 2023's most anticipated films. Cena also stars in this year's Fast X, (another highly anticipated movie) that just happened to be filming across the street from Barbie. When Cena ran into Robbie, who also serves as a producer on the film, he seized the moment.
