Following the new deal between Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise and Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group, the studio is now hoping to finally coax the Top Gun: Maverick star into making the long-awaited sequel to his 2014 sci-fi action outing, Edge of Tomorrow. News of the deal between the star and the studio already had fans hoping for the greenlight on Edge of Tomorrow 2, and now, The Hollywood Reporter has stated that this is exactly what Warner Bros. has in mind.
